  • May I be happy.

Second, say them for someone you love:

  • May (the person you name) be happy.
  • May ___ be healthy.

Third, say them for someone who is an acquaintance:

  • May (whoever you identify, i.e. the lady who served you coffee) be happy.
  • May ___ be healthy.
  • May ___ be safe.
  • May ___ be at ease.

Fourth, say them for someone you might not particularly care for.  If you struggle with this one, say them towards the divinity in that person:

  • May ___ be happy.
  • May ___ be healthy.
  • May ___ be safe.
  • May ___ be at ease.

Last, say them for all beings:

  • May all beings be happy.
  • May all beings be healthy.
  • May all beings be safe.
  • May all beings be at ease.
